Here we stand, thus far have we come. Journeying through many phases in history, the human race has eventually gotten here- at this point. The very point where our human rights are humanely right no longer; when those whom we expect to know have only but displayed their utter numbness to the spectacular awe of we the so-called ordinary people. Nothing appears explicit, everything is rather so blur and vague and yet, somehow, this is what we are forced to accept as modern day enlightenment. Such heights of irony! It oft times beats my imagination to realise how much our desperation for freedom tends to more or less enslave as the unnoticeably. Financial freedom, freedom to express the human nature uncensoredly, freedom to have our way in every business of life(ie. education, belief, profession etc), freedom to be whatever we'd like to be, etc have become the ultimate desire of the modern day human mind. But one thing that must never be overlooked is that, when freedom is not righ...

Too many a time, we may not appreciate the value of the supposed stresses that life tend to subject us to. For several moments the way ahead appear foggy and milky. But when the dust settles, when the dusk is cleared from the sky, only then will we see that every iota of the supposed stresses life threw at us in all its divers forms was necessary to forge us into that which we shall become. For instance, Anatomy courses may not make so much sense and meaning currently. But the time cometh when we shall realise that the fulcrum of our lives and livelihoods is massively hitched upon Anatomy and all the weird terminologies it comes with. You know the very thoughts that I hold within You are entirely aware of every action and inaction of mine You make me believe you're always there, always! But you're not I don't really know you that well but then you seem to know me quite well from the way you stare right back anytime we meet. A quick glance at you and I can't stop wondering how disappointed you probably are in me. Your eyes are like mine, with identical gestures. I even try to copycat you when we meet or perhaps it's the other way round. You always leave, only to re-appear intermittently along the span of day, in the wash room, at the mart, in the bus, and along the street and even on my phone oft times. You are silent, and it makes me wonder if we are anything alike. You say nothing but only stare and this really scares me sometimes. The fatigues we experience in life are not always due to the weights of the stresses life comes with. Sometimes the real reason behind these fatigues is how long we hold unto the worries that come with the stresses. The more we hold unto these worries, the heavier they become to bear. We must never forget that even the lightest weights become exceedingly heavy as long as we hold unto them. We may not be to alter the weights of life's stresses, but we can certainly let go of the worries associated with them. No valley descends forever and no mountain ascends forever. There is always a turning point for every mountain and valley no matter how deep or high it may be. A gentle reminder on the dynamic nature, the twists and the turns in life. Accepting responsibility for one's actions is one of the most difficult things to do especially for actions with undesirable consequences. We often hide under the shadows of a defective system or another person's failures to feel good about our own shortcomings and to run from harsh criticisms. But true growth can only be realized if we learn to take full responsibilities of our actions because by so doing, we are empowered to right the wrongs and make the good better. It is impossible to always be right no matter your level of knowledge, expertise or experience so don't feel humiliated to accept responsibility for mistakes. The most significant of lights is the one the appears in an unbearable darkness in the most scary hours. It restores comfort, quenches fear and brings hope. If you have any light to give to the world, make sure to give it where it is needed the most and when it matters most because it will brighten up someone's dark and scary path. Don't give it when there is abundance of it and where its effect will not be felt because in such situations, it will only add to a long chain of redundancies. -Shaddy Boat for Lagatinscribes

There are a lot of imbalances in life. Even the kind of parents and environment you are born to and into greatly affect the kind of life one will want to live. But for the kind of person we want to be even in the midst of all these imbalances, we are fully and solely responsible. As far as personality is concerned- good or bad - we all have equal opportunity to choose exactly who we want to be and nothing can and should stop us. It is a choice one has to make and live with forever. Don't blame your personality flaws on the system and environment because that power lies solely in your hands. -Shaddy Boat for Lagatinscribes

The sunlight that takes away the beautiful shade also cast shadows of objects blocking it's rays to provide shade. When we train the mind to see the good and beauty even in ugly and adverse situations,we will be highly motivated to keep pushing and going knowing assuredly that there is a brighter side even in the most gloomy situations. The same amount of rainfall that will not shake the size of an ocean will cause streams and rivers to overflow their banks. The mere fact that we do not see personal benefits in stuffs that happen around us does not make them any less beneficial and does not also nullify their beautiful effects. In fact, when we learn to shift the focus away from ourselves which has been the ritual, we will be able to get better view and a much clearer picture which will cause us to appreciate every simple thing that happens around us whether or not we get personal gains from them. Not many people get that rare chance to make a difference in this life. Some dedicate their entire life trying in vain to make just a little difference. So, when life presents you with such a unique opportunity, just make sure you give it a shot regardless of your unworthiness and imperfection. That one difference you make can transform an entire generation.
