Flashback⚡ Me: Hey, I've been thinking about your birthday coming up. How about we spend it together??? I was thinking we could go to Mole National Park for a little adventure, or you could come to Kumasi. What do you think??? Her: Thanks for the offer, but I think I'd prefer to celebrate alone this year. Me: Alone??? But why??? I want to make your birthday special. Her: I appreciate that, really, but I just fe
el like some alone time would be good for me. I want to spoil myself and do things at my own pace. Me: But I want to be there with you, to share in the joy and make memories together. Her: I know, and I appreciate your thoughtfulness. But sometimes, I need to do things for myself. It's not personal, I promise. Me: Okay, I understand. If that's what you need, then I'll respect your decision. But just know that I'm here for you, no matter what. Her: Thank you for understanding. I promise we'll celebrate together next year, okay??? Me: Deal. Happy birthday, my love. I hope you have an amazing day, even if it's just with yourself. Her: Thank you. I love you. 30/03/2020  In the past few weeks, there has been so much agitation and panic because the fight against covid19 has seemingly proved futile. A lot of people are beginning to wonder whether there will ever be a breakthrough. It is easier believing when better things happen but it is totally otherwise when all plans seem to be failing.
