A Poem for Horse

POEM FOR HORSES searched the whole universe and I can never find a creature so humane like you even the children I have given birth to will someday leave my side but you will stay forever till you gone even though the time I will spend with you is limited, two to two and half decade or so, it's still worth it cus I know after you are gone the memories we shared will be forever and maybe you will bore a son who will carry on your legacy even when I step on your tail or toes, you just moan and you could never do me harm no matter how much discomfort I cause you, you still find your way back to me when I am broke and we have nothing to eat, you never leave and you lay by my side you motivate me that things will be okay I am your master but you have taken me to be more of your creator never met a creature so humble and obedient like you you bend to my will and make me feel more of a father my closest friends betrayed me and left me in the storm but you put me on your back and rode me through you are with me through victory and defeat on the battlefield everytime I saddle up I know I am safe I am confident of this because you took an arrow for me when people tried to assassinate me you the only person I can trust among my trusted peers we ride to the wild west to claim our treasure through all the danger you never backed down when it came for me to choose between you and the treasure, I chose you you are my treasure just as John Wick killed a bunch of gangs because of his dog, I will cut down armies, empires and foes if they ever lay a hand on you a king is never complete without his trusted mare everytime I touch your chest, your heartbeat resonates with mine it's like you are my significant other everytime I saddle up I feel like I can fly as I mount our souls connect and we communicate you know when I want you to run, walk, gallop and stop you know when I need a ride and when I don't everytime I am feeding you it's like I'm feeding myself and everytime I hurt you it's like I'm hurting myself never had this kind of connection and love from people that's why I would die for you that's why this took me to animal care knowing how nature wants to communicate his love and affection towards people that's why he created animals is the reason why me being in the animal care service is the most purposeful thing I have ever done cus I am treating humanity and at the same time experiencing nature's love in the olden days you were our means of transport nowadays we only use you for our benefit never giving a care about your health I like to give you your freedom I can never use you for money I will forever be your Woody by Ameyaw Effah Stephen Albright, Ghana

30/03/2020  In the past few weeks, there has been so much agitation and panic because the fight against covid19 has seemingly proved futile. A lot of people are beginning to wonder whether there will ever be a breakthrough. It is easier believing when better things happen but it is totally otherwise when all plans seem to be failing.
